Henefer Town is pleased to offer a Secondary Water System starting May 15th 2026 to help residents efficiently irrigate lawns, gardens, and landscaping while conserving culinary (drinking) water.
💧 What Is Secondary Water?
Secondary water is untreated irrigation water designed for:
- Lawn watering
- Garden irrigation
- Landscaping
- Outdoor agricultural use
🔧 Ready to Connect?
Here’s what you need to do:
1️⃣ Research
Visit www.henefer.gov, call Henefer Town at 435-336-5365, or stop by Henefer Town Hall on Tuesdays & Wednesdays 8am-12pm to:
- Learn connection requirements
- Ask questions about your property
2️⃣ Gather required Parts
You may:
✔Hire a landscaper or contractor to acquire the parts and perform the installation
OR
✔ Purchase approved parts on your own
3️⃣ Schedule Inspection
All properties that are connecting to the secondary system are required to be inspected, regardless of the type of installation. After installation, you will need an inspection to confirm proper connection and system compliance. Contact Sam Adams at 435-513-5784 to schedule your inspection.
If you install before July 1st 2026 the connection fee will be waived.
